✨How To Make Your Online Christmas Shopping Experience Enjoyable✨

In light of the recent announcement, hopefully the shop will be able to open again in a week. However, we thought we would give you our top tips to make your online Christmas shopping ✨FUN✨ - whether it's for the next week, or the rest of the run up to Christmas. So here goes...

There's nothing like a glass of mulled wine to kick off your Christmas shopping at home. Follow this recipe for the most delicious warming mulled wine, or simply replace with your festive drink of choice.

1 Lemon

2 Oranges

8 Cloves

2 Cinnamon Sticks

4cm Piece of ginger (1.5inches), peeled and sliced

60g Light Brown Sugar (2.5 OZ)

60ml Ruby Port

75cl Full-Bodied Red Wine

1.5 Pints of water

Half an orange, sliced into half moons

Half a lemon, sliced into half moons

6-8 cinnamon sticks

1) Zest the lemon and one of the oranges with a potato peeler (keep the peel). Then, juice the zested orange. Push the cloves into the non-zested remaining orange.

2) Into a large pan, put the zest, orange juice, clove studded orange, ginger, sugar, port and red wine - along with 1.5 pints of water and 2 cinnamon sticks.

3) Cook on a low heat and stir until the sugar dissolves, then slightly turn up the heat and simmer for 20 mins.

4) Remove from the heat and cool for 10 mins, then serve. Garnish with lemon, orange and a cinnamon stick   (Optional).
